Entergy's Lamar Substation
located on the east side of Cheek Street, south of Georgia Street and north of Iowa Street

Steel structure holding incoming 69 kV (?) and several fuses before line
continues into transformer. Switch and bus insulators are all older. Nice to see some unrebuilt sub equipment.

Several circuits leave the substation through riser poles and primary
metering devices.

Another pic of the incoming 69 kV at angle pole, with underbuilt distribution lines that leave the substation.

Another shot of distribution lines that leave the sub.

Another shot of the lines leaving the sub and the switches and primary metering they go through on their way out.

Closeup of poles in previous photo. Pole on the left is a switch pole between the two circuits, center pole
is the riser for two circuits, note the heavy switches, and the pole on
right is the primary metering pole.
