| Story On ICON: Here's a recently discovered unlisted oil reservoir insulator. Not in any of the books or NIA website! Measures 3 3/4" tall x 4 1/8" wide. Has 3/4" pinhole. The base is curled inward to hold the oil but completely flush. [click here]. Unmarked. Found in Spain, but made by General Electric, Limited in Britain circa 1920 [click here]. These are rarer than the British ones made in 2-pieces. Excellent condition with factory created flaws- 2 straw/crack lines that are glazed over (one on each side), and one bb glaze ping that caused surface glaze crazing [click here]. Some cement in pinhole. Some light use marks. VNM. Displays great! When was the last time you ever saw one of these for sale?? | |||||
