Doug MacGillvary ~ Porcelain Threadless Insulators

U-972    Elton Gish called this an "over-cooked brown;" "the ugliest and most crude glaze that I have ever seen." I first saw this piece in a display at the Berea, Ohio, National in 1976. I have not been very successful in filling in any background on this most unusual piece, evidently the only known example. U-972
