Blue Ridge Insulator Club In September of 2002 Tommy Snead, Chris Childress, and myself started BRIC. We wanted to fill the void that existed in Virginia and North Carolina for a club that would bring other insulator collectors together. Insulator Auction In November of 2002 I attended an auction in Henry Co. VA where there were about 70 oil drums of insulators up for auction. Being a poor artist I had only come to watch but ended up buying the whole lot! Insulator Paintings n December of 2002 I listed my first painting of insulators on EBAY and was surprised at the success. I hope to make this a regular sale item whenever I can get a good one painted.
