There were a few free hours remaining before we had to be at the terminal.
Just enough time to visit the local shops.  Roy’s Rambling’s had a
CD 106 Maydwell in off clear [one of my favorite pony’s] He said they come
from somewhere up near Fairbanks.  Went to another store where we
got lots of common CD’s in aqua and clear. moose Horn Antiques & Gifts
had a HEMI-9 with odd embossing...

Sailing
toward home brought us to Sitka, Alaska.  We had an hour in town,
so
I took the opportunity to visit-You guessed it-an antique shop.  Ann’s
Tiques.  Got a CD 133 and something clear that later turned out to
be a CD 115.
Steve decided that we needed to be a little more informed in our hunting
efforts, so when we arrived home he ordered a set of McDougald’s Guides.
Most of the insulators that we carried back from the Great North seem to
be common.  But I will always have the great memories that come with
their acquisition.
