I suspect the CD 168.6 style (and CD 168.5 too?) might have been manufactured by (or otherwise related to?) the Chicago Insulating Co., because the Price Guide listing mentions dots on the skirt in a vertical line (or one by itself), which are also present on some CD 135s in the same place in varying numbers (suspect this is a date or mold code); also, the shape of the CD 168.6, though a bit larger, is very similar to that of the CD 135 (and CD 168.5 is similar to 168.6) minus the 'diamond grooves'.
